Reckon this'll hold up in a metal cutting shop all day, every day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 10, 2026, 8:52 AM
Engineered for high-pressure, high-speed applications, this Vickers 35VQ series vane pump should provide reliable performance in metal cutting environments, as well as plastic injection molding and oil and gas equipment. It's built with a durable cast iron construction to help it last.
Question by: Rick B on Mar 6, 2026, 1:35 PM
We run one of these on a plastic injection press and it's been holding up real well. Just curious what the seals are made of on this pump, in case we ever need to source replacements down the road.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 8, 2026, 9:13 AM
Buna-N is what's used for the seals on this one. That's a common and widely available seal material, so tracking down replacements when the time comes shouldn't be much of a headache.
