Vickers F3 25VQ21A 1A20

Description & Features

Built for high-pressure, high-speed hydraulic applications, the Vickers F3 25VQ21A 1A20 is a vane pump from the VQ Series, designed to deliver outstanding volumetric efficiency and extended service life across demanding industrial environments. The cast iron housing provides structural durability, while Viton seals support compatibility with a range of hydraulic fluids.

With a flow rate of approximately 148.7 litres per minute, this pump is well-suited for use in metal cutting machinery, plastic injection molding equipment, oil and gas applications, dump trucks, and wheel loaders. The 25VQ Series is widely recognized in mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits where consistent performance under load is a priority.

Question by: Troy D on Apr 7, 2025, 5:25 PM
Flow rate on this one is listed around 148 liters per minute, that hold up in actual metal cutting setups or is that more of a peak number?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 8, 2025, 7:25 PM
For metal cutting machinery, that flow rate is part of what makes the 25VQ Series a solid fit. Vane pumps in this series are built specifically for high-pressure, high-speed conditions, so the 148.7 litre per minute figure reflects the pump's operating capability in demanding industrial circuits, not just a lab peak. Volumetric efficiency is one of the standout traits of this series, which means flow consistency under load tends to hold up well rather than dropping off the way some pumps do once pressure climbs.

Reckon this'll bolt right up to where my old Vickers pump was? Gotta make sure before I order it.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 27, 2026, 8:28 PM
Use-case-first. For a straightforward changeover, confirm that your old Vickers pump had a 25VQ series designation. Also check the port sizes and mounting flange match.
