What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a crawler dozer and a mini excavator on the same jobsite and tryin to figure out if one pump could work across both machines.

Both of those machines fall squarely within what the 420 Series was put together to handle. Crawler dozers and mini excavators are both listed applications for this pump, so you're not stretching it at all running this across that type of equipment.
