DANFOSS / EATON 1.00 CID(49CC)420 CODE C

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile hydraulic applications, the Danfoss / Eaton X20 420 Series open circuit piston pump offers a displacement of 1.00 CID (49cc) and is configured to Code C. Built for high-pressure, high-flow duty cycles, it is well-suited for equipment such as loader backhoes, crawler dozers, mini excavators, articulated haulers, concrete and asphalt pavers, and a broad range of material handling and agricultural machinery.

The 420 Series platform supports advanced control options that help maintain system efficiency across variable load conditions. Response and recovery times are optimized for mobile applications where duty cycles shift frequently, including vibratory cable plows, mining machinery, tunnel boring equipment, railroad equipment, and container handling cranes. A 5.75-inch product width supports integration into compact machine envelopes where space is limited.

Question by: Donna C on Aug 27, 2025, 2:39 PM
What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a crawler dozer and a mini excavator on the same jobsite and tryin to figure out if one pump could work across both.
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 29, 2025, 8:02 AM
Both of those machines fall squarely in the application range for this pump. The 420 Series is listed for crawler dozers and mini excavators, along with loader backhoes, articulated haulers, concrete and asphalt pavers, and a whole range of other mobile equipment. The 1.00 CID (49cc) displacement and high-pressure, high-flow design make it a fit for the kind of variable duty cycles you see on a working jobsite. That said, each machine has its own hydraulic connections and mounting requirements, so confirming the Code C configuration matches your specific setup on each unit is worth doing before ordering.

Would this pump work good on a dump truck lift?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 26, 2025, 6:03 AM
Application data suggests this pump is well-suited for dump truck lifts, as well as a range of mobile hydraulic applications.
