Question by: Howard G on Sep 26, 2025, 5:20 PM
Got a loader backhoe that's been running an older pump and I'm tryin to figure out if this 420 Series unit would be a good fit for that kind of work. Is it built for that application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 28, 2025, 6:12 AM
Loader backhoes are right in the wheelhouse for this pump. The 420 Series was put together with exactly that kind of mobile equipment in mind, and the 3.80 CID displacement gives you solid flow capacity for the hydraulic demands those machines put on a system. The open circuit axial piston design handles high pressure well, which matters when you're running attachments or lifting under load. It's a capable match for that application.
Question by: Stan W on Jan 6, 2026, 11:43 AM
Would this pump work okay on a dump truck lift, or is it too much pump?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 7, 2026, 3:05 PM
This pump is definitely suitable for dump truck lifts, as well as container handling and other similar applications needing robust hydraulic power. It's built for heavy-duty mobile equipment.
