Danfoss / Eaton-3.00 CID(49CC)420 Code B

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile hydraulic applications, the Danfoss / Eaton-3.00 CID (49CC) 420 Code B is an open circuit piston pump built to handle high-pressure, variable-flow requirements across a wide range of heavy equipment platforms. With a displacement of 3.00 CID (49cc), it suits machinery where consistent hydraulic output and fast control response are critical.

Typical equipment includes loader backhoes, agriculture tractors, crawler dozers, mini excavators, concrete and asphalt pavers, feller/bunchers, articulated haulers, and container handling cranes, among others. The pump also sees use in railroad equipment, mining machinery, tunnel boring equipment, and utility boom trucks.

Advanced control options support efficient power management, while the pump's high pressure and flow capacity makes it a reliable fit for continuous-duty mobile environments. Lead time for this unit is 90 days.

Question by: Glen J on Nov 26, 2025, 11:54 AM
got a mini excavator and a crawler dozer both needing pump replacements, this 49cc unit, is it actually listed for both those machines or just one of 'em?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 28, 2025, 6:37 AM
Both are covered. Mini excavators and crawler dozers are among the documented application types for this pump. The 420 series handles a fairly broad range of mobile equipment, so running the same platform across multiple machines in your fleet is a reasonable setup when displacement and flow requirements line up.
Question by: Billy H on Feb 15, 2026, 3:04 PM
Can this pump handle running pretty much all day, every day, on a piece of mining equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 17, 2026, 11:24 AM
This pump is designed for continuous-duty mobile environments where reliability is key, so it should hold up well in that application.
