Question by: Curt H on May 11, 2025, 3:16 PM
Could this Eaton piston pump handle continuous duty in, say, a mining application?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 13, 2025, 6:22 AM
Application-wise, this pump is well-suited for tough mobile hydraulic jobs. That includes mining machinery as well as loaders, backhoes, tractors, and other heavy equipment.
Question by: Terry J on May 22, 2025, 4:55 PM
Got a loader and a backhoe both running off the same machine setup. Would this 420 series pump hold up to that kind of dual-duty work, or is it more of a single-application unit?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 24, 2025, 8:11 AM
Loader backhoe setups are actually one of the applications this pump was built around. It's an open circuit piston pump rated for mobile hydraulic work, so it handles the kind of variable demand you see when you're switching between loader and backhoe functions. The high pressure and flow capacity help it keep up when both ends of the machine are making demands on the system. For that type of work, it's a solid fit.
