Is this tubing alright for hooking up my trailer brakes?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 21, 2025, 4:24 PM
Absolutely, this air brake tubing meets DOT FMVSS 106 compliance standards, so it's suitable for air brake systems.
Question by: Howard M on Mar 10, 2026, 10:07 AM
does this tubing hold up in cold weather, like real cold? trying to figure out if it'll work through a rough winter without cracking on me
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 11, 2026, 6:22 PM
Nylon 12 construction handles down to negative 40 degrees, so actual cold weather isn't going to be a problem. The cover is also UV stabilized, which helps it hold up when it's exposed to sunlight over time. For air brake applications running through seasonal temperature swings, this tubing is built to take it.
