Description & Features

Designed for truck and trailer air brake systems, this 3/16" OD Eaton Aeroquip Air Brake Tubing is built from high-quality blended polyamide and features an extruded, UV-stabilized black cover rated for service down to -40°F. The lightweight construction supports flexibility without compromising durability under harsh operating conditions, making it well suited for formed tube assemblies, straight air brake harness assemblies, and auxiliary air system routing.

Compliant with DOT FMVSS 106 and certified to SAE J844, SAE J1131, and SAE J2494-3, this tubing meets the regulatory requirements for commercial vehicle brake applications. With a minimum bend radius of 0.75" and compatibility with QCAB and push-to-connect fittings, it integrates readily into standard air brake harness configurations. Part of the Synflex Eclipse series from Danfoss/Eaton, it is sold in 100-foot lengths.

got a roll of this in black, is it actually DOT compliant for air brake work or is it just generic tubing

For air brake use, it meets DOT FMVSS 106 compliance and it is also certified to SAE J844, SAE J1131, and SAE J2494-3.
