Designed for truck and trailer air brake systems, this 1/4-inch orange airbrake hose is constructed from a proprietary polyamide alloy tube with a UV-stabilized cover and no reinforcement layer, keeping weight low while maintaining flexibility across a wide temperature range down to -40°F. The extruded construction uses high-quality blended nylon materials selected for durability under harsh operating conditions, with premium abrasion resistance suited to the demands of formed tube assemblies and air brake harness configurations.

The Aeroquip Airbrake 1/4 Orange - Solstice meets SAE J2494-3, SAE J844, and SAE J1131 certifications, and is compliant with DOT FMVSS 106. Non-conductive construction and a minimum bend radius of 1 inch support use in both straight and formed air brake harness assemblies. Ink jet lay line marking is applied for easy identification. Sold under the Synflex sub-brand by Danfoss/Eaton, this hose is applicable to auxiliary air systems in addition to primary brake circuit applications.

What kind of operating temperature can this handle?
