Question by: Dwight F on Sep 30, 2025, 9:40 AM
So this thing will hold up in a plastics plant running 24/7?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 2, 2025, 7:24 AM
Designed for demanding environments, this Vickers vane pump is built to withstand high-pressure, high-speed conditions common in plastics machinery and other industrial applications requiring continuous operation. Its cast iron construction and Buna-N seals contribute to its durability and longer operating life.
Question by: Vince K on May 15, 2025, 4:54 PM
flow rate on this one is listed at 121 liters a minute -- is that about right for press machine work or would that be overkill for most setups?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 17, 2025, 6:04 AM
For press machine applications, 121.23 liters per minute puts this pump well within the range needed for demanding cycle work. The 3520VQ series was built with exactly that kind of environment in mind, alongside die casting and plastics machinery where consistent high-volume flow matters. Whether it's overkill depends on your system requirements, but having that capacity available means the pump isn't straining to keep up, which tends to support longer service life over time.
