The Danfoss / Eaton Hansen 400 Series Quick Disconnect Couplings Plug is designed for general pneumatics construction and industrial plants. Constructed from carbon steel it ensures durability and reliability in demanding environments.

Features include quick connect and disconnect capabilities eliminating the need for special tools and exceeding ISO 16028 operating pressures. The internal connection type is a ball lock with a sleeve lock for safety.

With a push to connect end type on one side and NPTF on the other this plug ensures a seamless fluid transfer. It is compatible with US Industrial Interchange and Tru-Flate Interchange standards and can operate at temperatures as low as -40 degrees. The product material is carbon steel and the seal material is Buna-N further enhancing its performance and longevity.

does this plug work with standard push-to-connect fittings or do you need something special to hook it up?

Push-to-connect on one end means no tools are needed to make the connection. The ball lock mechanism handles engagement, and the sleeve lock holds it secure once seated. On the other end you've got a 3/8 NPTF port, so as long as your mating fitting matches that thread type, you're good to go without any adapters or specialty hardware.

got a 3/8 NPTF line already, is this the right plug to screw in on that side and still quick-connect on the other?

With one end set up as NPTF and the other end being a push to connect style, it’s meant to thread into an NPTF port and give you a quick disconnect plug on the other side. The port size on the threaded end is 3/8.
