these reusable fittings from aeroquip, are they carbon steel or some kind of alloy? want to make sure before I order a batch

Carbon steel all the way through. The 4411-14-12S is built from carbon steel, so it holds up well in standard hydraulic line work where you need something dependable without going to exotic materials. Good choice for most shop and industrial setups running -12 hose.
