got a machine tool setup that needs a solenoid directional valve, what kind of valve is this one exactly
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 13, 2025, 8:57 PM
Solenoid operated directional control is the main job here, and it’s a DG4V-5 single stage valve in the 20 design series. It’s built as a three-way or four-way directional control valve and is meant to mount on industry-standard surfaces.
Question by: Sherry R on Mar 8, 2026, 4:02 PM
solenoid coil on this thing pulls 38 watts -- is that pretty standard for a valve this size, or is that something I need to account for special in my control panel wiring?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 10, 2026, 6:45 AM
38 watts is on the moderate end for a solenoid valve in this class, and most industrial control panels handle it without much trouble. That said, if you're running several of these off the same power supply or relay bank, it's worth adding up your total coil draw before assuming your existing setup can absorb it. Each coil counts, especially during simultaneous switching.

Reckon this'll fit right onto a standard mounting surface?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 2, 2026, 6:36 AM
Easily mountable on industry-standard surfaces, this directional control valve should fit without much fuss.
