Description & Features

Engineered for high-pressure, high-speed hydraulic circuits, the 45VQ Series Vane Pump, 42 Ring Size, 1-1/4 Straight Keyed Shaft, Outlet in-Line with Outlet, CW Rotation is a single vane pump from Eaton Vickers rated to 2,500 PSI and 2,200 RPM. It delivers a rated flow of 65.92 GPM at a displacement of 8.46 cubic inches per revolution, making it well-suited for demanding industrial applications including metal cutting, plastic injection molding, dump trucks, and wheel loaders.

The pump features a 2-bolt SAE C mounting flange with SAE 4-bolt flange ports, 3-inch inlet and 1-1/2-inch outlet, and uses Buna-N seals. Clockwise shaft rotation and an in-line port configuration support straightforward integration into a range of mobile and industrial hydraulic systems. I'm trying to replace a pump on an older piece of equipment. How can I be sure this one's gonna be a direct fit?

This 45VQ series vane pump uses a 2-bolt SAE C mounting flange, so you'll want to check if that matches what you currently have. It also has SAE 4-bolt flange ports, with a 3" inlet and 1-1/2" outlet.

pump puts out 65 gallons a minute at what pressure, and is 2500 psi really the ceiling or just a continuous rating?

At rated flow, this unit delivers 65.92 GPM. The 2500 PSI figure is the maximum pressure rating, so that is the hard ceiling, not a continuous operating target.
