got a -12 hose, is this the right end for it or am i mixin stuff up

For hose fit, it matches a -12 hose dash size and it is a 4-wire spiral TTC fitting. On the connection side, it uses a female ORS swivel in a 45 degree elbow style.

Does this fitting have any kind of corrosion protection, or is it bare carbon steel?

Carbon steel construction gets a Dura-Kote plating finish on this one, which gives it solid corrosion resistance and helps stretch out the working life of your hose assemblies. Bare steel it is not.
