Question by: Ricky B on Jan 11, 2026, 11:25 AM
fitting's got a flanged end on one side and a hose end on the other, is that right, or am I reading it wrong?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 13, 2026, 9:55 AM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating covers the corrosion side of things, and yes, the end configuration is flanged on one end and line/hose/tube on the other. That CAT flange 90 elbow geometry means you're getting a right-angle turn built into the fitting itself, which helps a lot when routing hose in tighter quarters. The -16 dash size tells you the hose bore this fitting is sized for, so make sure your hose matches up on that before ordering.
Question by: Tony W on Feb 14, 2026, 7:11 AM
Is this here fitting gonna hold up in a hydraulic system that runs pretty much non-stop?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 15, 2026, 1:46 PM
Dura-Kote plating helps this fitting resist corrosion, which should extend its life even in systems that run continuously.
