Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Phil C on Dec 31, 2025, 8:53 AM
Will this fitting hold up to high-pressure hydraulic systems on farm equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 1, 2026, 9:57 AM
Designed for 4-wire spiral hoses and featuring Dura-Kote plating, this Eaton Aeroquip fitting offers enhanced corrosion resistance and is engineered for demanding applications.
Question by: Keith G on Feb 7, 2026, 12:12 PM
does the Dura-Kote plating on this fitting hold up decent in wet or high-humidity environments, or is that more of a light-duty corrosion protection?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 8, 2026, 4:27 PM
Dura-Kote plating is specifically engineered for superior corrosion resistance, so it goes well beyond light-duty protection. For environments with regular moisture exposure or humidity, that plating is one of the reasons this fitting gets spec'd over standard carbon steel options without a coating. The carbon steel base combined with that finish gives you solid durability in conditions where bare steel would start showing wear much sooner.
