Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Ross M on Jan 7, 2026, 12:09 PM
Does this fitting hold up decent in environments where rust and corrosion are a real concern? We run hydraulic lines in some pretty rough conditions and can't have fittings failing on us.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 9, 2026, 7:56 AM
Corrosion protection on this one comes from Dura-Kote plating, which is applied specifically to give it stronger resistance against rust and wear than a standard uncoated carbon steel fitting. The carbon steel base gives it solid structural strength, and the plating handles the surface protection. For rough operating environments where moisture or contaminants are present, that combination is a meaningful advantage over bare fittings.

Will this fitting hold up if I'm running a hydraulic system on a piece of heavy equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 2, 2025, 7:01 PM
Built from carbon steel and meeting SAE J1176 standards, this fitting is durable enough for demanding industrial hydraulic systems, promoting maximum uptime and long assembly life.
