Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Kurt W on Jan 20, 2026, 9:40 PM
What's the corrosion protection on this fitting, we run equipment outdoors year-round and rust is always a fight.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 22, 2026, 10:46 AM
Dura-Kote plating is applied to the carbon steel body, which gives it solid resistance to corrosion and helps extend the life of the whole hose assembly. For outdoor equipment that stays exposed to the elements, that coating makes a real difference over time compared to bare or lightly treated steel fittings.
