Question by: Rod R on Dec 22, 2025, 4:16 PM
What size thread is on this fitting? Gotta make sure it'll match up.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 24, 2025, 6:55 AM
It's got a 1-inch male NPTF thread, so you'll wanna be sure that matches what you're hooking it up to.
Question by: Larry H on Jan 28, 2026, 9:36 PM
corrosion's always been a headache with fittings out in the field, what kind of protection does this one actually have?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 30, 2026, 11:46 AM
Dura-Kote plating is applied to the exterior, which gives it solid corrosion resistance compared to standard uncoated carbon steel fittings. For environments where moisture, chemicals, or general weather exposure are a regular concern, that plating adds meaningful protection and helps the fitting hold up longer between replacements.
