Question by: Jerry C on May 13, 2025, 4:51 PM
what's the corrosion protection on this fitting? running equipment outside and rust has been a real problem with some of the cheaper stuff we've tried
Answer by: Customer Support on May 15, 2025, 8:17 AM
Dura-Kote plating is what sets this one apart from bare carbon steel fittings. That coating is specifically applied to give it better corrosion resistance, so it holds up longer in outdoor or otherwise harsh conditions where moisture and exposure are a regular concern. The base material is carbon steel, and the Dura-Kote finish is what carries the corrosion protection.
Question by: Marvin R on Nov 6, 2025, 8:50 PM
Wondering if this fitting'll hold up with some of the newer hydraulic fluids we're using? Been having trouble with corrosion lately.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 8, 2025, 8:46 PM
Dura-Kote plating is a key feature here, boosting its resistance to corrosion and extending its lifespan in demanding settings.
