Fitting (Perm) 4S

Description & Features

A -6 hose dash size crimp fitting configured as a 90° long drop elbow, the Fitting (Perm) 4S connects a female ORS swivel end to a hose assembly with a 2.55-inch drop dimension. Constructed from carbon steel and finished with Dura-Kote plating, the fitting is built to resist corrosion in demanding hydraulic service environments. The ORS swivel end provides a reliable, leak-resistant connection suited to high-cycle and high-pressure hydraulic hose assemblies.

Engineered as part of the Aeroquip 4S series permanent crimp system, this fitting is designed to extend hose assembly service life and support maximum system uptime. It meets SAE J1176 certification requirements. With a package weight of 1.32 lb and a 0.8125-inch end size, it is a practical choice for hydraulic circuit routing where directional changes and clearance constraints require a long-drop elbow configuration.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Diane R on Sep 11, 2025, 9:05 PM
What kind of corrosion resistance can I expect from this fitting, especially if it's gonna be exposed to the elements some?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 13, 2025, 4:28 PM
Dura-Kote plating on this fitting gives it excellent corrosion resistance, so it should hold up well even in demanding hydraulic environments.
