trying to replace an old straight coupler, are both ends on this one 3/8-18 female nptf?

Both ports are 3/8-18 female NPTF threads, and the thread spec on each end is SAE J476, so it is a straight female to female NPTF connector.

Got some 3/8-18 NPTF fittings on both ends of a connection I need to make, will this straight coupler tie em together without any adapters in between?

Both threaded ends on this fitting are 3/8-18 female NPTF, so yeah, if you've got male NPTF threads on both sides of your connection, this drops right in without needing anything extra. Both threads conform to SAE J476, so you're working within a well-established standard. Just make sure your existing fittings are male NPTF at 3/8-18 on both sides and you're set.
