The Series 5000 Mini Solenoid Connector in black is manufactured by Canfield Industries Inc. Designed for optimal performance this connector is rated at a maximum current of 10 amps and a maximum rated voltage of 300 VDC or 250 VAC at 50/60 Hz. It features a 1/2 NPT connector type ensuring a secure and reliable connection.

This solenoid connector is crafted with a nitrile seal material and is environmentally rated Nema Type 4 and IP65 for dust tight and water-resistant protection. Its temperature range varies from -13deg;F to 194deg;F with a nitrile gasket and from -40deg;F to 257deg;F with a silicone gasket.

Notable features include the capability for the cable outlet to be assembled in 180deg; increments. Additionally the connector's strain relief can accommodate a maximum cable diameter of 0.240 to 0.310 inches while the conduit can manage up to 0.410 inches.

Indicator lights and pre-wired options are available to suit various application needs. Available in color variations of black gray or translucent for models with lights this solenoid connector supports normal polarity with 1 positive high and 2 negative neutral.

Is this here connector watertight? I need it for somethin' that's gonna be outside.

It's rated NEMA Type 4 and IP65, so it's dust-tight and water-resistant. Should hold up just fine outdoors.

what's the biggest wire i can run through the strain relief on this connector?

Strain relief on this unit handles cable diameters from 0.240 to 0.310 inches at the max, and conductor wire tops out at 14 AWG. If you're going through conduit instead, that opening accommodates up to 0.410 inches. Worth knowing before you pull your wire.
