This Eaton Aeroquip carbon steel adapter features a 45-degree sweep elbow configuration, designed for demanding hydraulic applications. The flanged end provides a secure, leak-resistant connection. This adapter conforms to SAE J514 standards and is suitable for use in marine/military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, and off-shore drilling environments.

The DANFOSS / EATON ADPT SWEEP 45 SPL FLG features Dura-Kote plating, which provides enhanced corrosion resistance. Design flexibility is assured with a wide variety of styles available. This adapter offers higher operating pressures than standard SAE requirements. It has a minimum working temperature of -65 degrees Fahrenheit. End 1 is flanged; End 2 is SAE 37 degree male.

Will this fitting hold up in a marine environment, say on a fishing boat?
