The Danfoss / Eaton SPLIT FLNG/37 Deg Flare W is built to perform above standard SAE pressure thresholds and carries SAE J514 certification, making it suitable for high-pressure hydraulic systems across marine, military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and offshore drilling environments.

Manufactured by Eaton Aeroquip, the adapter features Dura-Kote plating that provides strong corrosion resistance suited to harsh or moisture-exposed service conditions. With a minimum working temperature rated to -40°, it maintains reliability across wide temperature ranges. does this adapter work in saltwater or corrosive environments, or is that gonna be a problem long term?

Carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating is what you're getting here, and that coating is specifically built for superior corrosion resistance. Marine and offshore drilling are listed applications for this part, so exposure to harsh or corrosive environments is something it was built to handle.
