Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this Adaptall Din X Mbspp Es Seal Complete adapter connects an M14 x 1.5 DIN tube end on one side to a G 1/4-19 male BSPP port on the other, making it a practical solution for crossing between metric DIN and British Standard hydraulic circuit connections. Both ends carry a male gender, and the BSPP side accommodates a 1/4" port size.

With a channel width of 14mm and overall dimensions of 24.5mm (L1), 9.5mm (L2), and 8mm (L3), the adapter is compact and suited to space-constrained installations. How tight should I make this thing when I'm hooking it up? Don't want to strip the threads.

Given that the DIN side uses a M14 x 1.5 thread and the BSPP side uses a G 1/4-19 thread with an ES seal, it's best to tighten it snugly but avoid excessive force. The ES seal on the BSPP side is designed to create a reliable, leak-free face seal without needing extreme torque. Over-tightening could damage the threads or compromise the seal.
