Question by: Merle B on Jul 26, 2025, 7:41 PM
trying to hook a DIN tube up to a BSPP port, is this the right adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 28, 2025, 6:02 AM
For that kind of hookup, it bridges a DIN tube connection on one end and a BSPP male thread on the other. Side 1 is M18 x 1.5 DIN tube in size L12, and side 2 is G 1/4 - 19 BSPP in 1/4 inch.
Question by: Jerry H on Jun 25, 2025, 9:38 AM
What exactly is this adapter doing in a hydraulic line, and which end connects to which fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 26, 2025, 3:15 PM
One end threads into a DIN tube connection using an M18 X 1.5 thread at the L12 size, and the other end is a G 1/4-19 BSPP male connection at 1/4 inch. So if you've got a DIN tube on one side of your line and a BSPP port on the other, this straight steel adapter bridges that gap. Both sides are male, so make sure your mating components have the corresponding female ports before you order.
Question by: Keith S on Jun 26, 2025, 7:08 PM
Will this fitting hold up okay for connecting some hydraulic lines on my tractor? I need somethin' that won't leak.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 28, 2025, 11:56 AM
Designed to connect a DIN tube to a BSPP fitting securely, this steel adapter should work well for hydraulic lines, provided the M18 X 1.5 DIN and G 1/4 - 19 BSPP sizes are the correct match for your tractor.
