got a DIN tube fitting on my hydraulic line that needs to tie into a 1/4 BSPP port, this the right piece for that?

That's what this adapter is built for. One end is a male DIN Tube connection at M18 x 1.5, and the other is a male 1/4" BSPP. Both sides are male, so keep that in mind when you're checking what you've got on each end of your setup. It's a straight configuration, so no angling involved, just a direct inline connection between those two thread types.
