Din X Mbspp Es Seal

Description & Features

Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this DIN x MBSPP ES Seal adapter connects a metric DIN tube end (M18 x 1.5, male, L12 series) on one side to a BSPP male port (G 1/2 - 14, 1/2") on the other. The straight body measures 34mm in overall length, with a 27mm across the wrench width and a compact profile suited to installations where space between connection points is limited.

The Din X Mbspp Es Seal is an Adaptall product, designed for use in hydraulic systems requiring a reliable transition between DIN tube fittings and British Standard Parallel Pipe thread ports. The ES seal designation indicates an elastomeric seal configuration at the BSPP end, providing a positive, leak-resistant connection without the need for additional sealing compounds.

trying to hook a metric DIN tube end to a 1/2 BSPP port, is this the right adapter or am i mixing stuff up
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 4, 2026, 7:55 PM
It bridges those two standards in a straight steel body, with an M18 x 1.5 male DIN tube end (L12 series) on one side and a G 1/2 - 14 BSPP male end (1/2 inch) on the other.
Question by: Shawn J on Jan 14, 2026, 5:05 PM
got a machine running DIN tube fittings on one end and a BSPP port on the other, does this adapter handle that crossover straight out of the box?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 16, 2026, 6:31 AM
Yeah, that's exactly what this fitting is built for. One side is a male M18 x 1.5 DIN tube end in the L12 series, and the other is a male G 1/2-14 BSPP thread. Steel body, straight configuration, so there's no bending or angled offset to account for. The ES seal on the BSPP side handles the sealing without any thread tape or compound needed on that end.

Will this fitting work to connect a DIN tube to a BSPP port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 14, 2025, 2:03 PM
Precisely, this adapter is designed to connect a metric DIN tube end to a BSPP male port.
