Got a machine running M36 x 2.0 DIN tube fittings and need to tie into a 1-5/16-12 SAE ORB port. this the right adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 25, 2026, 11:34 AM
That's what this fitting bridges. One end is M36 x 2.0 DIN tube, the other is 1-5/16-12 UN SAE ORB, both male. So if your tube side is M36 x 2.0 and your port is a 1-inch SAE ORB, you're looking at the right part.
Question by: Janet C on Jan 27, 2026, 10:07 AM
Will this fitting work for connecting a DIN tube to an SAE ORB port? Just want to make sure before I order.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 29, 2026, 6:00 AM
Yes, that's exactly what it's designed for. This fitting has an M36 x 2.0 DIN Tube connection on one side and a 1-5/16 - 12 UN SAE ORB connection on the other, so it will properly connect those two different types of ports.

i've got a metric DIN tube nut that’s M36 x 2.0. is this the straight adapter that goes from that to a 1-5/16-12 SAE ORB male?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 22, 2025, 10:47 AM
On the DIN tube side it is M36 x 2.0 with a male connection, and the other end is a male SAE ORB with 1-5/16 - 12 UN threads. It is a straight steel fitting, so it is meant to adapt between those two specific ends in-line.
