Question by: Kirk H on Nov 30, 2025, 7:57 PM
Is this the right fitting to go from a metric DIN tube to a regular NPT pipe thread?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 1, 2025, 9:14 PM
Yes, that's exactly what it's for. This steel fitting adapts a DIN tube to a male NPT thread. On one side you have a M18 X 1.5 DIN tube connection (L12 size), and on the other a 3/8" male NPT thread.

Trying to hook a DIN tube up to a 3/8 NPT port, is this the right adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 12, 2025, 6:44 AM
For that kind of hookup, it’s a straight steel adapter with an M18 x 1.5 DIN tube connection on one end (L12 size) and a 3/8 inch male NPTF thread on the other (3/8 - 18 NPTF).
Question by: Todd S on Jul 7, 2025, 5:05 PM
fitting's got a M18 x 1.5 DIN tube side and I need to hook into a 3/8 NPT port, this the right one for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 9, 2025, 7:10 AM
That's what this fitting does. One end is the M18 x 1.5 DIN tube connection in L12 size, and the other end is a 3/8-18 NPTF male thread. Both sides are male, so make sure your NPT port is female on the receiving end. It's a straight adapter, no bends or offsets, just a clean inline connection between those two thread types.
