fitting's got an M14 x 1.5 on one end and I need to tie into a 1/4" BSPT male port on the other side -- this the right part for that?

Yeah, that's exactly what this one does. One end is M14 x 1.5 male DIN tube, the other is 1/4" male BSPT with an R 1/4-19 thread. Both sides are male, so make sure your mating connections are female on each end. The fitting runs 27mm in total length and is made from steel, so it holds up well in standard industrial setups.
