Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this DIN Bulkhead Union connects two M18 x 1.5 DIN tube ends of the same size, making it suited for panel or bulkhead mounting applications where a line must pass through a partition. Both sides share an L12 size designation with male DIN tube connections, providing a symmetrical, through-panel union in a single compact fitting.

Supplied by Adaptall, the fitting measures 53mm in overall length with a 29mm center-to-panel dimension and a 10mm thread engagement length. The 24mm wrench flats on both sides allow for secure installation and removal. The all-steel construction supports use in demanding hydraulic line installations where consistent thread form and material integrity are required.

fitting's 53mm long total, will that be enough to clear both sides of a standard panel when it's mounted through?

At 53mm overall with a 29mm center-to-panel dimension and 10mm of thread engagement on each side, there's enough length for most standard panel installations. The 29mm figure represents the distance from the panel face to the center of the fitting, so you'd account for panel thickness when figuring your clearance. As long as your panel isn't unusually thick, the geometry works out fine for a typical bulkhead pass-through setup.

need a straight bulkhead fitting to pass a line through a panel. is this one actually made for that kind of setup
