A 90-degree elbow adapter connecting a DIN tube fitting on one end to a male SAE O-Ring Boss (ORB) on the other, the 90° Din X Male Sae Orb Adj is built from steel and suited for hydraulic circuits requiring a directional change between these two connection standards. The adjustable ORB side allows for rotational positioning before lockdown, making routing more flexible in tight or constrained installations.

fitting's got an M24 x 1.5 on one side and a 7/8-14 ORB on the other, that adjustable end, how's it work exactly before you lock it down?

The ORB side can be rotated to whatever angle works best for your routing before you torque it into final position. That's the whole point of the adjustable feature on that end. Once you get the fitting pointed the right direction and everything lined up, you tighten it down and it stays put. Comes in real handy when you're working in a tight spot and a fixed-angle fitting just won't clear the surrounding hardware.
