DANFOSS / EATON COUPLING

Description & Features

Designed for hydraulic fluid transfer in demanding mobile applications, the Danfoss / Eaton Coupling is part of the Hansen 5100 Series of quick disconnect couplings. This complete coupling assembly features 3/4-inch thread-to-connect and NPTF ends, both female, constructed from brass and carbon steel with Buna-N seals for reliable fluid compatibility across a broad temperature range down to -40°F.

Rated for flow up to 18 gallons per minute and built to exceed ISO 16028 operating pressures, this 2-way valve coupling is well suited for on-highway hydraulic wet lines, dump and refuse vehicles, and bulk liquid transfer service. The thread-to-connect design allows quick coupling and decoupling without special tools, reducing downtime in the field. The Hansen sub-brand designation reflects Eaton Aeroquip's long-established presence in industrial quick disconnect solutions.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Gary E on Mar 19, 2026, 7:56 PM
what's the thread connection on both ends of this coupling, are they both NPTF 3/4 inch?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 21, 2026, 6:41 AM
Both ends are 3/4 inch, but they aren't the same type. One end is a thread-to-connect style and the other is NPTF. Both are female. So if you're hydraulic connections this into a standard hydraulic wet line, you'll want to confirm which end connects where before you wrench it down.
Question by: Melvin W on Sep 6, 2025, 8:31 PM
Will this here fitting work with standard NPT threads, or is it some kinda special deal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 8, 2025, 6:26 AM
These Eaton Aeroquip couplings use NPTF threads, which are designed to provide a tighter seal than standard NPT threads.
