Designed for efficient hydraulics and fluid transfer, the Eaton Aeroquip 5100 Series Quick Disconnect Couplings offer reliable performance in demanding applications such as on-highway hydraulic wet lines, dump and refuse vehicles, and bulk liquid transfer systems. These couplings feature a convenient quick connect and disconnect mechanism, eliminating the need for special tools, while ensuring secure connections. Built to exceed ISO 16028 operating pressures, they offer enhanced durability and dependability.
Constructed from robust brass and carbon steel, these couplings possess a 1-inch thread-to-connect end and an NPTF end, facilitating seamless integration into existing systems. With a flow rate of 40 gallons per minute and a minimum working temperature of -40 degrees, they are engineered to meet the demands of high-performance environments. The Danfoss / Eaton Couplings - Code are an excellent choice for those seeking efficient and versatile hydraulic solutions.

Question by: Dean A on Feb 5, 2026, 8:25 PM
running a dump trailer with a 1-inch wet line setup, will this coupling handle the flow without choking things down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 7, 2026, 6:45 AM
Forty gallons per minute is what this coupling is rated for at that port size, so for a standard dump trailer wet line application, you've got plenty of capacity. The 1-inch thread-to-connect body pairs with an NPTF port on the female end, which is pretty much the standard hookup for on-highway hydraulic lines on dump and refuse trucks. Flow restriction shouldn't be a concern at typical operating demands for that kind of rig.
