DANFOSS / EATON COUPLING

Description & Features

This Eaton Aeroquip coupling is part of the Hansen 5100 series of quick disconnect couplings, designed for demanding hydraulic and fluid transfer applications.

The DANFOSS / EATON COUPLING features a 2-way valve type and is constructed from durable brass and carbon steel, with Buna-N seals ensuring reliable performance in temperatures as low as -40°F. This complete coupling features female NPTF thread to connect ends with a 3/8 inch port size and a flow rate of 7 gallons per minute.

Ideal for on-highway hydraulic wet lines, dump and refuse vehicles, and bulk liquid transfer, these couplings provide quick connect and disconnect functionality without the need for special tools and exceed ISO 16028 operating pressures.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Harold P on Aug 9, 2025, 12:28 PM
Running 3/8 port hydraulic lines on a dump trailer and need a quick disconnect that'll actually hold up, does this coupling handle that kind of setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 11, 2025, 9:36 AM
Dump and refuse vehicles are one of the specific applications this coupling was built for, so yes, it fits that use case well. The 5100 Series exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressure standards, which means it's rated above the typical benchmark for hydraulic quick disconnects in that class. Port size is 3/8, both ends are female, and one side connects via NPTF thread while the other is thread-to-connect. No special tools needed to make or break the connection, which matters when you're swapping lines out in the field.
