DANFOSS / EATON FLUID COUPLING 3/8 FP

Description & Features

The Eaton Aeroquip 5100 Series Quick Disconnect Couplings are essential for hydraulic and fluid transfer applications, including on-highway wet lines and bulk liquid transfer. Featuring a user-friendly quick connect and disconnect design, these couplings negate the need for special tools, ensuring efficient and hassle-free operation. Constructed from durable brass with Buna-N seals, it guarantees compatibility with various fluids while maintaining robust performance even in extreme temperatures down to -40°F.

Designed with a 3/8-inch port size, this male half coupling utilizes a thread-to-connect mechanism, providing reliable, leak-free connections. It exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressures, supporting a flow rate of up to 7 gallons per minute, making it ideal for demanding environments like dump and refuse vehicles. The coupling's male-to-female end configuration and NPTF threading reinforce its versatility across different systems.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Frank C on Mar 4, 2026, 5:54 PM
does this hook up to standard NPTF fittings or do i need some kind of adapter for the female end
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 6, 2026, 10:13 AM
The female end on this coupling is 3/8 NPTF, so it threads directly onto standard 3/8 NPTF ports without any adapter needed. The male end uses UN thread to connect, and the whole thing operates on a thread-to-connect style, meaning no tools required to make or break the connection. It's a two-way valve setup, which keeps fluid from spilling out both sides when you disconnect.
