5100 Series Low Spill Connect Under Pressure Quick Disconnect, Female Half, -10 Coupling, 1/2-14 Female Pipe

Description & Features

The Eaton Aeroquip 5100 Series Low Spill Connect Under Pressure Quick Disconnect is an essential component for hydraulic and fluid transfer systems. Designed with a tubular valve construction, this coupling minimizes fluid loss during disconnection, significantly reducing environmental and safety risks. The coupling features a robust brass body with steel valving components, ensuring durability and reliability under demanding conditions. Its female half, -10 coupling size, and 1/2-14 NPT threading make it ideal for on-highway hydraulic wet lines and bulk liquid transfer applications.

With a pressure capability of up to 500 psi, this quick disconnect allows for seamless connection even under pressure. The Buna-N seal material ensures compatibility with a wide range of fluids, and the option for wing or hex nut configurations provides flexibility for different installation requirements. This product is particularly suited for use in dump and refuse vehicles, thanks to its efficient low air inclusion during connections, which maintains optimal system performance.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Harold W on Nov 22, 2025, 7:22 AM
does this thing actually let you connect it while the line's still pressurized, or do you have to bleed the system down first?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 24, 2025, 6:40 AM
You can connect it while the system is still pressurized, up to 500 psi. That connect-under-pressure capability is built into the 5100 Series design, so you're not stuck shutting everything down just to make a swap or reconnection. It's one of the more practical features on this coupling for working hydraulic wet lines where pressure doesn't always drop between connections.
