The 5100 Series Low Spill Connect Under Pressure Quick Disconnect, Female Half, -20 Coupling, 1-1/4-11-1/2 Female Pipe is designed for seamless fluid transfer and hydraulic applications. The tubular valve construction ensures minimal fluid loss during disconnection, reducing environmental and safety hazards.

Featuring low air inclusion during connection, it maintains optimal system performance. This coupling allows connecting of halves even when pressurizing up to 500 psi, making it suitable for on-highway hydraulic wet lines, dump and refuse vehicles, and bulk liquid transfer.

Constructed with standard body material of brass and steel valving components, it is available with wing or hex nut configurations. The standard seal material is Buna-N, providing reliable sealing under various conditions. A steel flange is available for accessible bulkhead mounting.

reckon this quick disconnect would work on my dump truck's wet line setup?

does this thing connect when there's already pressure in the line, or do you have to bleed it down first before hooking up?

You can connect it under pressure up to 500 psi without bleeding the line down first. That's one of the main reasons this fitting gets used on dump trucks and refuse trucks where stopping to depressurize the system every time just isn't practical. The tubular valve construction also keeps fluid loss down to around 0.70 cubic centimeters at disconnect, so you're not making a mess every time you pull it apart.

got a wet line setup on a dump trailer, is this the right female quick disconnect for that kind of work?
