It features a 2-way valve type and a thread-to-connect internal connection. Both ends are female NPTF with a size of 1/2 inch, and it offers a flow rate of 18 gallons per minute. It is designed to operate in a minimum working temperature of -40 degrees.

This DANFOSS / EATON coupling is definitely made for on-highway hydraulic wet lines, so you shouldn't have any problems using it for hydraulic fluid on your dump truck. Just double-check that the 1/2-inch NPTF female connections match your setup.
