what size tube does this cutting ring work with, the L35?

Right on both counts. The L35 size designation refers to the tube size this ring is built for, and it connects using a DIN 2353 standard interface on the tube side. The thread callout on that side is M45 X 2.0, so as long as your fitting or body matches that spec, you're in good shape.
