Constructed from steel in a straight configuration, this union connects two M18 x 1.5 DIN tube ends using a soft seal design on both sides. Both connection points are female, sized at L12, making this a symmetrical fitting suited for inline tube-to-tube joining within hydraulic circuits. The soft seal interface provides reliable sealing without relying solely on metal-to-metal contact, which is well suited to applications where vibration or minor misalignment may be present.
Manufactured by Adaptall, the Female Din Soft Seal Union measures 38.4mm in overall length, with wrench flats of 22mm and 16mm on each end. The steel construction is appropriate for demanding hydraulic service environments.

Question by: Shawn O on Apr 21, 2025, 5:17 PM
both ends on this union are female, right? trying to connect two DIN tube ends inline and want to make sure i ain't gotta flip anything around or add an adapter
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 22, 2025, 6:16 PM
Correct on both counts. Both sides are female, sized at L12, and both carry the same M18 x 1.5 DIN tube thread. The fitting is fully symmetrical, so there's no orientation to worry about. Drop it in line between two matching DIN tube ends and you're good to go.

trying to hook two DIN tube ends together inline, is this the union that takes M18 x 1.5 on both sides?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 21, 2026, 2:09 PM
For an inline tube to tube connection, it joins two DIN tube ends that are both M18 x 1.5. Both ends are female and both sides are size L12, so it is a straight, symmetrical union.

So this thing just connects two tubes, right? Both the same size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 26, 2025, 6:20 AM
that's the idea. It's made to join two M18 x 1.5 DIN tubes together using those soft seals. And you're right, both sides are the same L12 size.
