Female Din Soft Seal Union

Description & Features

Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this M22 x 1.5 threaded union provides a DIN soft seal connection on both ends, making it well suited for joining hydraulic lines where a reliable, leak-resistant seal is required. Both sides share an L15 size designation with female DIN tube fittings, allowing symmetrical installation within a hydraulic circuit.

The Female Din Soft Seal Union is an Adaptall product, measuring 48.9mm in overall length with a 27mm wrench width on side one and 22mm on side two. The soft seal design accommodates the sealing element at the tube end, reducing dependence on thread sealants and supporting clean, maintainable connections in steel hydraulic line assemblies.

Question by: Johnny S on Jun 29, 2025, 9:44 PM
both ends are M22 x 1.5 female DIN, so does that mean i can run the same tube fitting on either side without worrying about orientation?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 1, 2025, 6:59 AM
Correct on all counts. Both sides carry the same L15 size designation and the same M22 x 1.5 female DIN thread, so there is no wrong end when you're making up the connection. You can pull it off the shelf, drop it in line, and not spend any time figuring out which side faces which direction. That symmetry also makes it a little easier to keep inventory simple if you're running a lot of DIN tube lines through a system.
Question by: Rex H on Jan 15, 2026, 12:51 PM
What size wrench do I need for this union? I've got a couple different sizes of lines I'm working with.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 17, 2026, 6:02 AM
You'll need two different size wrenches. One side of the union has a 27mm wrench width, while the other is 22mm.
