This Adaptall reducer fitting adapts between DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) tube sizes. It features a female M52 x 2.0 DIN tube connection on one side and a male M45 x 2.0 DIN tube connection on the other.

Got a line running M52 x 2.0 DIN tube and need to step it down to M45 x 2.0 on the other end, this the right fitting for that?

That's what this one does. Female M52 x 2.0 DIN on one side, male M45 x 2.0 DIN on the other, straight through. Steel construction, 43mm on the L1 side and 50mm on the L2 side. Wrench flats are 50mm and 60mm respectively so you got enough to torque it down proper.
