fitting I got here has M52 x 2.0 on one end and M30 x 2.0 on the other, is that normal or did I get the wrong part?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 29, 2025, 8:22 AM
That's how this one is built. Side 1 runs M52 x 2.0 and Side 2 is M30 x 2.0, so the two thread sizes are intentionally different. That's what makes it a reducer. It steps down from the larger S38 female DIN tube connection to the smaller S20 male DIN tube connection. If both those sizes match what you're working with, you've got the right fitting.

trying to hook a bigger DIN tube into a smaller one, is this the reducer that goes from S38 down to S20?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 19, 2025, 10:59 AM
For stepping down between those two DIN tube sizes, it matches that job. Side 1 is a female S38 DIN tube end with M52 x 2.0 threads, and Side 2 is a male S20 DIN tube end with M30 x 2.0 threads, all in a straight steel reducer.

What kinda steel is this made of? Just wanna make sure it'll hold up.

This reducer is made from steel, so it's durable for hydraulic applications.
