This Eaton Aeroquip quick disconnect coupling socket is part of the Hansen 500 Series and features a 1-way valve type. Constructed from brass with Buna-N seals, it ensures reliable performance in demanding environments. The DANFOSS / EATON 1/2FCOUPX3/4FNPT coupling offers quick connect and disconnect functionality, eliminating the need for special tools.

With a sleeve lock safety locking mechanism and ball lock internal connection, this female half coupling is suitable for general pneumatics, construction, industrial plants, and fluid transfer applications. It has female end connections of 0.75" NPTF and 0.75" push to connect, and supports a flow rate of 538 gallons per minute. This coupling is designed to exceed ISO 16028 operating pressures and functions in minimum working temperatures as low as -40 degrees.

What kind of connection does this coupling use on the female end, and will it thread into a standard 3/4 NPT port on my equipment?

Both end connections on this coupling are 3/4 inch. One end is NPTF threaded, which seats and seals on standard 3/4 NPT ports without any adapter needed. The other end is a push-to-connect style. The body itself is brass with Buna-N seals, so it threads up clean and holds a good seal in most general-purpose fluid and pneumatic setups.
