Manufactured from straight steel, this straight expander fitting steps up from a #4 female NPTF port to a #8 male NPTF connection in a single inline body. Both threads conform to SAE J476, with the male end sized at 1/2-14 and the female end at 1/4-18. The #8 MP X #4 FP is rated for dynamic pressures up to 6,000 PSI, making it well suited for hydraulic and fluid power circuits where a compact, permanent thread expansion is needed without additional adapters.

Got a port on a manifold block that's tapped 1/4-18 NPTF and I need to run a 1/2-14 male line into it. This fitting do that in one shot, or am I still gonna need extra pieces?

One fitting handles it. The female end threads into your 1/4-18 NPTF port and the male end puts out a 1/2-14 NPTF connection, so you go straight from the smaller port to the larger line without stacking adapters. Both ends conform to SAE J476, and the whole thing sits in a single inline body, which keeps things tight in spots where you don't have room to chain fittings together.
